New Trailer for Jurassic World

The Park is open.

I guess they know its not polite to make people wait especially during the holiday. After releasing a trailer to announce the release of the real trailer (which apparently is a thing now) Universal Pictures played nice and released the Jurassic World trailer 2 days early. Watch it below.

First off we know the park is open and I do adore the train and the gates opening up which now say Jurassic World. Its a fantastic image that will look just as impressive on the big screen. We get some sage advice from Mom telling her son she’s proud of him for going on this trip tot he park alone. She even jokingly tells him if something is chasing him to run. Did she not see the first 3 movies? Kids on the island equal hiding from carnivorous dinosaurs. Of course that’s exactly what we see later. Back to  HQ, we have Chris Pratt looking all pensive because bringing back the dinosaurs or taming the ones left over wasn’t enough head scientist Claire (Bryce Dallas Howard) who announces that they bred a brand new dinosaur. That’s not weird at all right? Let’s just make a new dinosaur and make sure its not a plant eater. Super intelligent dinosaur, how far in the film before it gets loose?

And in a fun nod or maybe its a swipe at the people who still defend SeaWolrd after Blackfish we get a very large shark held over a tank. Dinosaur from the water doing tricks and splashing the crowd ala Shamu? oh yes. I am so here for when that goes wrong. It was still glorious to watch knowing there’s so much potential in that tank. Clearly the dinosaurs range in temperament since we see tourists  going down rivers with dinosaurs on the shores as well as Chris Pratt riding his motorcycle along with a herd of dinos along side him. I’m very hyped up for Jurassic World. Hold on to your butts.
