The trend lately in movies has been to put out some of the classic children’s fairy tales but gear them to an adult audience. It started a few years back with the movie The Brothers Grimm. Granted the real version of many of their fairy tales are dark in nature and are actually cleaned up for children’s movies. Mirror Mirror from 2012 while still a family movie was a comedic portrayal and had lots of adult comedy. Snow White and the Huntsman was a much darker version of the fairy tale. Both movies arenothing like the Disney version most parents have seen numerous times.
